Over the course of the past week I have been able to spend some time researching and brainstorming ideas for my original work. I am also still contemplating the continuation of my final product from last year. I am hoping to get some advice from my mentor during our next visit. Some information brought about through my research that caught my attention was research questions. When thinking of an original work it has been helpful for me to understand a question of problem I would like to dive deeper into. This has challenged to think about topics in relation to marketing that I am of interest about. Some of these include Brand management, product awareness, and consumer behavior. With this in mind I can better understand what kind of original product would be of interest to me and ensures that I will choose something that I can put 100% of my effort into while enjoying the work I am doing at the same time. I loved my final product from last year, however, I loved what I completed and the second half for my project that I was planning to continue is not the part of my branding platform that I was the most excited about executing. Over the next couple weeks I have made a goal to figure out a solid plan for my original work.
