Weekly Report

October 25th, 2016 - October 31th, 2016

This week I have spent a lot of my time conducting research from various websites and have learned a lot of the fundamentals behind marketing. I am hoping that through my upcoming interviews and continued research I can continue to gain a deeper understanding of marketing to help me gain a better idea of how to go about my original work. In regards to my original work, I have had a lot of challenges when thinking outside the box of what I could Possibly come up with. Most of the projects we do in school have strict guidelines and instructions, so this is the first project I have had for the most part the freedom to create whatever I want. However, this has been a positive challenge because I have had to really get creative and think outside the box in ways I haven't before. This is bettering me as a student and as a young professional. In the business world, especially in management and marketing, it is important to be able to think of new solutions and ideas that differ from the rest of your competing companies. Overall this week has been very informing and has helped me to grow skills that are necessary in the marketing industry.
